I’m pretty sure the editor of Das Wort was being a bit cheeky because of the eye-bleed, but he wasn’t actually doing anything particularly malicious. Also, the New York Post is an extremely important newspaper that is one of the most influential in the US. I’m sure the editor was just trying to get a reaction from his readers, and I’m sure that was the point of the joke.
A lot of journalists do this. I’ve often seen editorials that are so ridiculous that I don’t even need to mention them. Even in this case the editor was just trying to get a reaction out of his readers, and I think it worked. (I’m sure I am missing a few, but I would love to hear them.
the editor said he had to take leave since being accused of sexual harassment. Im curious about the specific charge, but I dont think it was sexual assault. The fact that he was accused of sexual harassment, which is a serious charge, should be enough of a reason for him to take leave.
The only person who could be making such a comment is one of the main contributors, but if you are a writer on a site that goes through hundreds of articles that are in some way related to your work, it would be a good idea to note that that would be a great time to include the comment.
Im not sure if someone’s comment was in the context of sexual harassment or not, but if so, then it would be a good idea to note that when you copy and paste it into your post. This is a site with a lot of content, and this person is a contributor.
A post-mortem is one where you can see if a comment was in the context of some kind of sexual harassment, or not. But that’s a totally different question. Im assuming that at some point your comment will be deleted, and that the post will go back to being read by the site.
If it was a post-mortem, there’s a good chance it will be deleted, as it will show for the first time that someone else is making a comment. But if it was a comment, it would just be copied and pasted.
